Tamiya Ford Escort RS Cosworth *1/24th Scale #24144)

Description

Clearing out some of my old projects. This is a Tamiya Ford Escort RS Cosworth rally car in 1/24th scale (kit #24144).
Chassis is almost finished, just needs a few parts installed and painted. Interior needs the dashboard finished and installed, a few rollcage parts need to be installed, and the door panel parts need to be installed.
Missing the rear view mirror
. Parts were painted according to the instructions, but everything was painted a very long time ago and doesnt look as good as it could if i painted it today. There is also a clear skid plate that needs to be painted and attached to the rear axle.
Body is in primer and ready for sanding before paint. Wing was previously installed but broke off at some point while it was in storage. Easy to reattach however.
Instruction manual is missing a few pages at the beginning, but those steps have been completed already so you're not missing anything important. Decal sheets are complete. Some decals were removed as the instructions called for them (seat belts, etc). Clear plastic parts are all present, as is the optional light pod and optional fog lights. Includes the fine mesh to make the grills for the front as well.
Overall, its a nice little kit. I'd repaint a few interior details and find a rear mirror to replace the missing one, then finish it up and it will look nice on a shelf. These kits are getting harder to find at a good price, so heres a chance to get a half finished one at a reasonable price.
